Maureen Malone is a principal with Malone Research. She is an experienced information professional with more than 30 years of experience with the Federal government as well as at 2 major university research libraries. She has experience with the Department of Defense, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC); US Agency for International Development (USAID), as well as National Libraries of Medicine and Agricultural (NAL Food and Nutrition Information Center) and the Library of Congress' Congressional Research Service. She has performed skilled research on topics ranging from A to Z, ex. registration of service marks, historical antecedents of quotations, topics on industry trends, and market development.
Maureen has expertise in Program Management and Supervision and has led contracts on information services at the USAID and National Agricultural Library. She performs analyses and syntheses of research results and writes synopses of research results. Maureen is skilled in finding obscure, little known facts to provide a comprehensive picture of an issue or topic. She is a graduate of the DISA Executive Leadership Management Program, May 2005, and has received a M.L.S from Pratt Institute's Graduate School of Information and Library Science. She is the receiver of numerous awards for her research skills from DISA, DTIC, National Library of Medicine, etc. On top of this, Maureen holds a DoD Top-secret clearance
